Daterra is a coffee grower and exporter best known for its innovative research, its respect for the environment and its high quality coffee.

Plantations are located in the Cerrado region (State of Minas Gerais) and in the Mogiana region (State of São Paulo). Daterra was Brazil’s first sustainable coffee farm. In 1999 Daterra became ISO 14001 certified and in 2003 became Rainforest Alliance certified, another first for Brazil.

Daterra farms have 50% of preservation area and produce quality coffees, which are recognized worldwide. Daterra holds 3.250 hectares of preservation land;
150.000 native trees planted; 14.000 tons of organic composting and over 15.000.000 of coffee trees. The company’s considers its employees its most valuable assets, and thus the community is especially cared for.
