| Bio: | Founded in 2006, Frutos de Selva is a cooperative based on a social agreement of cooperation, solidarity and mutual assistance between the partners that compose it. Frutos de Selva is comprise of more than 250 coffee producing partner families belonging to 17 base committees settled in different ecological zones of the eight valleys of the Province of Moyobamba. Frutos de Selva since its inception has had the purpose to generate sustainable development, with a business-minded cooperative acting with environmental and social responsibility. The development the Cooperative’s actions is based on democratic principles and values, equality, cooperation, commitment, honesty, trust, transparency, accountability, social, environmental and teamwork, among others. Frutos de Selva produces high quality organic and fairtrade certified coffee. |
