| Bio: | The cooperative was founded in 1968 and is a legally registered and recognized entity. It’s an association of small coffee producers that serves as a processing center and provides commercial, social and financial services. We operate in Chirinos, La Coipa, Huarango and Tabaconas, having a dynamic relation with the local and regional economy. We are also connected to importers and roasters abroad, financial services and certification entities in order to promote the economic development of the region and provide work for our families. We are also committed to a responsible use of our natural resources and to embody respect for our environment. We have collection, drying and toasting facilities, as well as offices, machinery and a quality control lab available for our members. Last year, we were able to increase production to over 19,700 quintals. |
