Founded in 2003, La Central Café y Cacao del Peru is an association that began due to the initiative of small coffee producers, organized in cooperatives, looking for specialized services to strengthen their coffee and cocoa production system as well as their capacities in institutional development and human resources. We now embody a social base of 10,000 small coffee and cocoa producers, made up of 13 different cooperatives located in central and southern Peru (Huánuco, Junín, Ayacucho, Cuzco, and Puno Provinces). We support our cooperatives by connecting them to markets to sell their green coffee, and also toast and sell their beans under the name Puma Coffee to add value to their product.

La Central Café y Cacao del Peruœ shares the vision of gaining recognition for its co-op members as some of the best coffee and cocoa producers in the world. Our mission is to manage our various development projects and to develop quality products and services that contribute to the family unit as well as to the value chain in coffee and cocoa production, always keeping our focus of cooperation with and conservation of the environment at heart.
