We are a indigenous organization; in fact, we locally grown and supply a variety of crops (cocoa beans, coffe beans, cassava, guayusa)
Bio:

We are an ethnic Kichwa group in the Ecuadorian Amazon. The Ecuadorian Kichwa of Rukullakta are represented by the “Pueblo Kichwa de Rukullakta” (PKR). PKR consists of 17 indigenous communities also called centros, and embraces approximately 8000 people. PKR control a territory that of approximately 418.8 km2. The access to these communities is possible through well paved roads. In addition we have destinated an area under conservation of approximately 11 km2. This areas are under the Socio Bosque Program. Socio Bosque program is an initiative of the Ministry of Environment of Ecuador. PKR is receiving direct economic incentives to convserve the native forest.

We have identified a network of local indigenous farmers, whose main activities are focused to the growing of coffe beans, cocoa beans, cassava, platano, gayusa. We are mainly suppliers in the local markets, but we need to expand and cover a national and international market. PKR territory has been divided into territorial land use and land cover zones; in particular we held the 45% of our territory with the capacity to be an arable land.
