Uniting family farms for the production of sustainable robusta coffee in Amazonas, Brazil.
Our project Coffee in Agroforestry aims to strengthen the productive chain of coffee in Apuí, in particular improving the quality of life for local producers and promoting environmental conservation. This commitment means cultivating our coffee using agro-ecological practices in agroforestry systems, as well as the careful post-harvest processing and marketing of our product. Fueled by this philosophy, our production has doubled for our producers, and our quality has increased to distinguish our product with higher market value.
By producing high quality coffee, Café Apuí is able to pay our producers more for their product, and the consumer enjoys a quality, sustainable coffee that protects the environment and farmers which produce it.
