We are a body representing organisations of small demographically organised producers, aimed at strengthening and developing grassroots organisations that provide assistance to our members. We promote our products, values and intervene in social, political and economic arenas, within the framework of Fair Trade.

We currently bring together 23 fair trade organisations nationwide representing over 8,000 families producing coffee, cacao, medicinal plants, quinoa, banana and sugarcane.

The CECJ is an active member of the Latin American Coordination and Caribbean Network of Small Fair Trade Producers – CLAC, aligns its philosophy and shares the values of democracy and participation, solidarity, equity, respect, transparency and social and environmental responsibility.
