Product: La Ruta de la Miel Honey from Ecuador
Produced by Api Real

Description:

Winner of the \\\"Sabores del Ecuador\\\" (Ecuadorian Flavours) national contest in 2015, these 6 varieties of honey known as \\\"La Ruta de la Miel\\\" (Honey\\\'s Route) contain honey produced in: The parish of San Antonio de Pichincha, Calacalí, Guayllabamba, Tumbaco, 5) Chilianes, and El Empalme. The golden colors belong to the citrus woody flavors of the Ecuadorian coastal region, contrasting with the dark colored - strong flavoured and slightly acid avocado flower honey produced in the rural parish of Guayllabamba. This honey tasting tour can not ignore the delicate yellow color, flower honey produced in Calacalí ñachag, which is best paired with the alfalfa flower honey, owner of a unique eucalyptus fragrance, creamy flavour and fresh aroma of woods from the Pichincha province valleys. Most of these honey types are produced once a year. API REAL preserves these honeys and offers a supply for domestic and overseas markets to taste Ecuadorian flower biodiversity through its honey.
